Refund Policy
Paid services and cancellation
In addition to the free Basic plan, EssayWise (“Website,” “Company”) offers a paid Pro subscription with access to paper generation services (“Service,” “Services”). The subscription is recurring and can be canceled at any time through your account. Upon cancellation, your subscription will not renew, and you will no longer be charged. You will still have access to the subscription until the end of the current subscription period in case of cancellation.
Payments for an EssayWise subscription are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise below.
Refunds
The Website will provide a refund solely in accordance with these Terms.
If you are not satisfied with our paid Services, you may submit an official refund request via customer support at [email protected] and provide a detailed description of your grounds for a refund.
The Company will evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may require supporting documentation from you (e.g., screenshots of error pages, browser error messages, failed login attempts, browser history, etc.).
Upon receipt of your refund request, the Company will forward it to the review board for a thorough investigation. Once the review board has made its decision, you will be notified in writing.
Eligibility for refunds
You may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
- You were unable to use the Services for which you paid because the platform was non-functional for a consecutive period of 48 hours or longer.
- To be eligible for a refund due to the platform’s downtime, you must contact our customer service during the affected period and attach a screenshot demonstrating the issue. This does not apply to scheduled system maintenance or minor technical issues that may affect certain functionalities of the platform. You will be refunded an amount proportional to the period of the platform’s inaccessibility.
- Your payment was made accidentally, and you did not access the Service. In this case, you must submit a written request to customer service within 14 days of the payment date, and we will provide you with a full refund.
Circumstances where refunds will not be granted
- You decide to stop using our Service at your sole discretion;
- You submitted a request after the timeframes stated above;
- You have violated our Terms of Service.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment account within 5 to 7 business days after your refund request is approved.
